Cookie Policy

Learn about how we use cookies and similar technologies on V2Stack.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work more efficiently and provide information to website owners.
2. Our Cookie Usage
2.1 Image Tools (Client-Side Processing)
V2Stack image tools do not use cookies for processing. All image operations (compression, conversion, resizing, etc.) are performed entirely in your browser using WebAssembly and modern browser APIs. No cookies are set, and no data is transmitted to our servers for these operations.
2.2 Analytics Cookies
We use Plausible Analytics to understand how people use V2Stack. Plausible:
- Does not set cookies - Uses a first-party script without persistent identifiers
- Does not collect personal data - All data is anonymized
- Does not track across sites - Each site visit is independent
- Is GDPR compliant - No cookie banner required under EU law
Analytics data includes aggregated page views, referral sources, and device types—nothing that can identify you personally.
2.3 Essential Cookies (Premium Accounts)
If you create a premium account, we use essential cookies for:
- Authentication: Session cookies to keep you logged in
- Security: CSRF protection and fraud prevention
- Preferences: Dark mode, language settings
These cookies are strictly necessary for the Service to function and cannot be disabled.
3. Types of Cookies We Use
| Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| Session Cookies | Authentication, security | Until browser closes |
| Preference Cookies | Dark mode, settings | 1 year |
| Analytics (Plausible) | Usage statistics | No cookies used |
4. Third-Party Cookies
We do not allow third parties to set cookies on V2Stack except for the services listed below:
- Plausible Analytics: No cookies (privacy-focused analytics)
- Stripe: Payment processing cookies (only on checkout pages)
We do not allow advertising cookies, tracking cookies, or social media cookies on V2Stack.
